"Treatability Studies in Support of Full-scale Design for In Situ Remedies"

Ms. McMaster is a Principal Scientist at Geosyntec Consultants. She has over 20 years of experience in soil and groundwater remediation and has managed large multi-disciplinary teams for design and implementation of full-scale soil and groundwater remediation projects in North America, Latin America and Australia. She has been part of Geosyntec’s Canadian operations since 1998. Her area of expertise includes source zone remediation of NAPLs, monitored natural attenuation (MNA) and enhanced in situ bioremediation (EISB) of chlorinated solvents and other recalcitrant compounds.  She has been the project manager for several full scale EISB projects that have been components of major re-development projects. She is project director for application of innovative technologies for challenging sites, including partitioning electron donors for TCE source treatment and self-sustaining treatment for active remediation (STAR) for coal-tar impacted sites.
